The best dishes of Peking Village are 水煮牛 and 夫妻肺片 and Sichuan dishes. I used to go there every week to just get these two dishes.

Dishes are mostly southern-China flavor. Though a little more expensive for a Chinese restaurant, it is pretty up-scale from the quality of the food to the decoration of the dining hall. If you want a clean, elegant place that offers fresh and delicate dishes, give this restaurant a try.

On one cold Tuesday, a few friends at work decided to have some hot noodle soup. We drove all the way to this little place hidden at the back of a small shopping plaza off Rt 7. Though it's my first time to be here, apparently my Vietnamese friends come here often. Not surprisingly, soups here are much better than what you get from other franchise Pho restaurants.

If you like lamb, you don't want to miss this place. For $13, you get 3 big freshly charcoal-grilled lamb chops with rice, tandoori bread, and vegetable.

Situated in 金山商场 right off Little River Turnpike in Annandale, this little restaurant is very unique. It has various Taiwan-style small dishes and excellent noodles and 面食 (包子，葱油饼，锅贴，手抓饼，馅饼，etc). The food is very fresh and delicious. The price is extremely reasonable. But the place is small, and during lunch and dinner hours, you may have to share a table with others. They only accept cash.

Went there a few years ago but wasn't impressed. Lately we heard it has changed, so we went there for Chinese New Year dinner. It is indeed quite different - a lot better.

This is a good Sichuan flavored Chinese restaurant in Northern Virginia area, which is known to lack good Chinese restaurants. One of the best known dishes of Sichuan Village is 水煮豆花鱼. If you like spicy food, you should try this place.

This is a small but unique resturant in Falls Church, just off Rt 50. They make the best 椒盐排骨 in this region. Their price is also very reasonable. We used to go there all the time when we lived in that area many years ago. But we still go there once in a while, even though we are 40 minutes away from it now. Good thing is they are still as good as before, which is quite unusual.
